Opening Times/The School Day

School opening hours are from 8:40am until 3pm.

All children must arrive on time so that they can make a prompt start to the day. Children who arrive late after the register has closed must report to the school office and will be recorded as late. Children should not arrive at school before 8.30am. We cannot accept responsibility for children left in the playground early in the morning.

Up to and including Year 4, children are expected to be collected after school by an adult from their contact list.

However if your child is in Year 5 or 6 they may walk home on their own providing we have written permission from the parent or carer.  Forms to authorise children walking home are available from the school office and issued at the beginning of years 5 & 6.

Compulsory school hours per week: 30 hours and 50 minutes
