Year 2 - Tilgate Nature Centre Visit

 

Tilgate Nature Centre Trip

As part of our Science and Writing learning, we would like to offer Year 2 children the exciting opportunity to go to Tilgate Nature Centre on Wednesday 26th March. During the school trip, children will get to learn about habitats, adaptations and a variety of animals that live at the nature centre. There will also be a chance to handle some of the animals with the experienced staff and to explore the nature centre!

We will be aiming to leave the school at 9:30am and get to Tilgate Nature Centre at 10:00am. We will be arriving back at the school around 2:45pm.  Each child will require a packed lunch and wear their school uniform with comfortable shoes to walk in. 

The cost of the trip will be £8.00 which covers the entrance fee and any activities carried out on the day.  The contribution is voluntary; however, the school could not bear the cost of the visit without reducing its ability to provide the books and materials that are essential for its curricular needs.  The visit will not take place unless all parents, who are able, are willing to contribute.  Should you have any difficulty in making payment, you are invited to see the School Business Manager or Headteacher in confidence, so that suitable arrangements can be made.
