‘Always’ children Reward Cookery Sessions

At The Oaks, we aim for our children to grow into kind, respectful and responsible young people. We aim for our pupils to be empathetic, understanding and work together to find positive solutions to what can sometimes be difficult situations.  As such, we have been embedding our behaviour policy across the school, which we closely monitor and support children who may find some aspects of this tricky.

However, we have many children who are excellent role models for others by showing exemplary behaviour at ALL times, with other children and with all staff. We believe that it is important to acknowledge this and have set up a reward cookery session each half term.

The staff nominate all the children and 2 names per class are randomly selected to take part. All 'always' children are given a certificate to acknowledge their fantastic behaviour, we had over 200 this half term!  This half term children made shortbread biscuits and here are a few photos of some of the children feeling proud of their baking.
