Spring Forward Event and Lantern making

Our Year 4 classes took part in a lantern making workshop on Wednesday 5th February with a visiting artist from Same Sky for the Annual Spring Forward event in the Memorial Gardens, Crawley.  Children spent the day learning techniques to make dragon-flies to feature in the light display created by the Same Sky Artists.

The children and families were invited to take part in a lantern-lit parade, led by a salsa band around the Memorial Gardens before having time to view the Light Display and find the dragon flies the children had worked so hard on.
